"Lovely little tearoom, great atmosphere, fantastic customer service and food is very reasonably priced. Came today and was told about the vegan options available upon arrival. I had a delicious sandwich which came with salad and crisp. I have also attended the tea room on previous occasions for baby showers/events and can also highly recommend the vegan afternoon tea! Thank you for a lovely afternoon. Update. I keep coming back. Attended yesterday for my birthday. Vegan afternoon tea, was delicious. The Battenburg cake a favourite of mine. Everyone else enjoyed their food and the service too. Xxx"

"My partner Gail and myself visited Whittle Vintage Tea room & Café today. Quite simply 10/10 . The staff were friendly and inviting, the atmosphere relaxing. We had pre ordered the classic afternoon tea, initially the presentation, attractive and professional. The food was incredible, possibly the best afternoon tea we have ever had. Easy to find, no problem parking, great value for money. We would most definitely recommend, and we will be paying a return visit. Well done. Simon and Gail"

"Whittle Vintage Tea Room is such a lovely place! The atmosphere is warm and nostalgic, and it truly feels like home. The coffe and cakes are delightful, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making you feel well looked after. A peaceful spot I’ll definitely be visiting again."

"Lovely food. Here with family for a significant birthday so a big mix of ages. The afternoon tea for little kids was lovely as they still provides little plastic teapots with cold water. The kids were still able to 'take part'. Our afternoon teas were jubilee themed with biscuits in the shape of the Queen's head, coronation chicken sandwiches (yum), blueberry and fruit scones and their own take on the jubilee trifle. Even before the afternoon tea, we were served with an amuse bouche of Eton mess ice cream - which was a lovely touch. A small break and then a delightfully smooth broccoli and stilton soup before the afternoon tea itself. Yummy! All nice and clean with lovely friendly staff. Heartily recommended to others."

"I came here with friends for afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious sandwiches! I had bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches, coffee and a dinosaur biscuit. Excellent service in a cosy, welcoming environment."

"Amazing find following problems getting to our usual post-run cafe. It's a perfect little tea room with delicious home made sandwiches and cakes served with old fashioned style. Nice to have decent tea in bone china teacups. The bacon brie and cranberry sandwich was served on proper chunky bread with side of slaw, salad and crisps. The scones were freshly made and amongst the best I've tasted. We perhaps should have been a bit better dressed...we'd just pulled on a clean t shirt and some sweatpants over our shorts after our 12 mile run around Rivington!"
